Entry is open to individuals aged 18 years and over who are residents of Australia. Employees of the promoter, sponsors, and any agencies or individuals directly associated with the competition or prize are ineligible to enter.
Entrants must be individuals and not companies or organisations.
The competition opens on Tuesday 5 August 2025 at 7pm AEST until Monday 11 August 2025 at 11:59pm AEST.
Entry is free. The prize is 2 tickets to the RFDS Birdsville Gala on Thursday 4 September, 2 VIP Passes to OBE Pavilion on Friday 5 September and Saturday 6 September. This prize is valued at $1,150.
The prize is not redeemable for cash, not exchangeable, and not transferable.
The promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the prize value or inclusions.
The winner will be selected at random by the Birdsville Race Club on Tuesday 12 August 2025.
The winner will be notified via the Birdsville Races Facebook or Instagram, depending on where the winning entry is randomly selected from. The winner will have five (5) days to accept the prize. If they do not accept, another winner will be drawn at random.
The promoter will not contact entrants via any unofficial Facebook or social media accounts.
The promoter will never request payment or financial details to claim a prize.
By entering, participants agree to the promoter collecting and using their personal information for the purposes of administering this competition and marketing, in accordance with applicable privacy laws and the promoter’s Privacy Policy.
Personal details will not be shared with third parties unless required by law or with express consent.
The promoter accepts no responsibility for any late, lost, incomplete, or misdirected entries, or for any issues accessing the website. The promoter is not liable for any loss, damage, injury, or expense arising from participation in the competition or use of the prize.
If the competition or prize is varied, postponed, or cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, the promoter and any associated parties will not be liable for any resulting loss or damage.
The promoter reserves the right, subject to regulatory approval, to cancel, suspend, or modify the competition if necessary, including where entries do not comply with terms or external events prevent its proper conduct.
