- The promoter is the Birdsville Race Club Inc (ABN: 95 242 670 295), Birdsville Race Club, C/- Post Office, Birdsville, QLD 4482, Australia. The competition is done in collaboration with Outback Queensland
- Entry is open to individuals aged 18 years and over who are residents of Australia. Employees of the promoter, sponsors, and any agencies or individuals directly associated with the competition or prize are ineligible to enter.
- Entrants must be individuals and not companies or organisations.
- The competition opens on Tuesday 25 August 2026 at 5pm AEST until Friday 28 August 2026 at 12:00pm AEST.
- To enter, entrants must be following the official Instagram accounts of the Birdsville Races and Outback Queensland and tag three (3) friends in the comments for their chance to win the major prize. All accounts tagged must be of people aged 18+. Entrants may submit multiple entries, provided three different friends are tagged in each comment.
- The prize is valued at over $2000 and includes:
- Four (4) tickets to the RFDS Gala on Thursday 3 September
- Four (4) VIP Passes to OBE Pavilion on Friday 4 September 2026 and,
- Four (4) GA Tickets for the TAB Birdsville Cup Race day on Saturday 5 September.
- The prize is not redeemable for cash, not exchangeable, and not transferable. The winner must attend the event and may nominate three guests to accompany them.
- Unless expressly stated above, the prize does not include travel to or from Birdsville, accommodation, meals, transfers, travel insurance or any other costs associated with accepting or using the prize. These costs are the sole responsibility of the winner and their guests.
- The promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the prize value or inclusions.
- The winner will be selected at random by the Birdsville Race Club on Friday 28 August and shared on Instagram Stories at 3pm AEST. All valid entries received during the Competition Period will be entered into the draw. One eligible entry will be selected at random by the Promoter at Birdsville Race Club on Friday 28 August 2026 and shared on Instagram Stories at 3pm AEST.
- The winner will be contacted via direct message only from the official Birdsville Races Instagram account @birdsvilleraces and announced via the official Birdsville Races Instagram Stories.
- The winner must accept the prize within 24 hours of being notified. If the winner does not respond within this period, the Promoter reserves the right to redraw the prize.
- he Promoter will only contact the winner from the official Birdsville Races Instagram account. The Promoter will never create a secondary account to contact entrants, request payment or credit card details or ask entrants to click a link to claim the prize.
- By entering, participants agree to the promoter collecting and using their personal information for the purposes of administering this competition and marketing, in accordance with applicable privacy laws and the promoter’s Privacy Policy.
- Personal details will not be shared with third parties unless required by law or with express consent.
- The promoter accepts no responsibility for any late, lost, incomplete, or misdirected entries, or for any issues accessing Instagram or submitting an entry. The promoter is not liable for any loss, damage, injury, or expense arising from participation in the competition or use of the prize.
- If the competition or prize is varied, postponed, or cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, the promoter and any associated parties will not be liable for any resulting loss or damage.
- The promoter reserves the right, subject to regulatory approval, to cancel, suspend, or modify the competition if necessary, including where entries do not comply with terms or external events prevent its proper conduct.
- This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook, Instagram, or any other social media platform. By entering, you release these platforms from any liability related to the competition.
